New Venue for June's Meeting
We've just found out that St Mark's Hall is being completely refurbished starting in May so we had to find a new venue in time for the June meeting. A visit to the Springbank Community Resource Centre showed the Centre will be a great temporary venue and so we've booked in there for the June to September meetings. The building is very modern with good facilities, plenty of parking and helpful, friendly staff.
The Springbank Community Resource Centre is situated on the edge of the 17-acre Springbank Park and is approached from the south-west by road. Travelling from Princess Elizabeth Way, you turn in to Hester's Way Road and follow it round until you come to Hester's Way Lane. Turn in to the Lane and proceed all the way to the T-junction formed with Springbank Road/Springbank Lane. Turn right here in to Springbank Lane and following this will take you right into the Centre's car park. Alternatively, Bus C from town takes you to the terminus very close to the Centre.
If you click on the thumb nail for the centre map, it shows the location of the Centre in relation to Princess Elizabeth Way.
